Kam brings nearly two decades of deep expertise across financial planning, funds management, and accounting to his role as Co-Founder of Ginkgo Private. With a career in financial services spanning since 2006, he has built a reputation as a thoughtful and technically rigorous adviser who places client outcomes at the centre of everything he does.

Before establishing Ginkgo Private, Kam co-founded CoWealth Partners. Earlier in his career, Kam worked as a financial adviser with a boutique financial planning firm where he also served as a founding member of a boutique licensee’s investment committee — a role that reflects both his analytical acumen and the trust his peers place in his judgement and as a research manager with a funds management firm, giving him a rare breadth of perspective across advice, investment research, and portfolio strategy.

Kam holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a registered Tax (Financial) Adviser with the Tax Practitioners Board.

He further holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services, and is an Associate Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA). He is also a Justice of the Peace for New South Wales.
